The RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival from April 27th to May 6th inclusive of the Gala Awards Night and we want to create an amazing atmosphere for the 9 amazing finalists and their hundreds of followers.

Retailers show  support for the festival by dressing up your window displays to represent the story of one of the plays.  Let’s make Athlone come alive with drama and excitement!

“Best Dressed Window” competition with three categories:

• Professionally dressed
• Charity shops
• General businesses and cafes

In addition to everyone’s individual efforts, the local committee and our local County Council  dress up the town with banners, signage, and bunting to add to the festivities. If you have any ideas re decorating the town we would love to hear from you. We  have stickers for you to put in your windows to demonstrate that you are a supporter of the festival.

Let’s celebrate 70 years of All Ireland Drama festivals in our town and make Athlone come alive with drama and excitement!
