The Kilmeen Group has won the RTE All Ireland finals, at Athlone, on four occasions. Significantly, two of those successes were with Tom Murphy plays; A Crucial Week in the Life of A Grocer’s Assistant in 2006 and A Whistle in The Dark in 2011. The other wins were, The Weir in 2012 and The Playboy of the Western World in 2013.
