About The Group

Kilmeen Drama Group, based in Rossmore, West Cork, is one of the longest established drama groups in the country, regularly competing on the 3 Act and 1 Act circuits. The Kilmeen Group has won the RTE All Ireland finals, at Athlone, on four occasions. Significantly, two of those successes were with Tom Murphy plays; A Crucial Week in the Life of A Grocer’s Assistant in 2006 and A Whistle in The Dark in 2011.
